Frigid

This one slipped up on me. Christmas came and went, and with all of the fun, eating, opening presents, and more eating, I somehow forgot about writing my blog. I was working on the year-end bookwork and I looked at the calendar to see what all was planned for this week, when I realized Wednesday was right in the middle of those plans.

The temperatures have plunged (I remember saying we’d pay for all that warm weather in November), making it hard to want to venture outside. So now when I need a break, I head downstairs to the treadmill (dread-mill). Each time I go down the stairs, I take some of the holiday decorations with me. There will be lots of trips up and down to get it all. It’s always kind of sad to take them down, but after a day or so, looking forward to spring and the longer days takes care of that.

Two weeks have passed since my surgery. I can do Yoga again! Sitting for long periods is still a challenge, but I even rolled over on my stomach last night and didn’t yelp. Progress for sure.

So, now it is tax prep time, spring cleaning, planning the garden, and snow shoeing when it warms up a tad. Several tads actually.

and so it goes…
