Summer Fun

My gardening helper, no not my granddaughter who actually does help, I mean little BB, crawled under the netting put up to protect the carrots and proceeded to prune them. SO helpful! I happened to have a hose in my hand, so the little guy got admonished and a shower at the same time. Not that it will do any good.

There is so much to do this time of year, the days fly by way too fast. That scares me. I don’t want to miss enjoying summer because I’m too busy to sit back and soak it in. I’m trying to come up with a plan for the backyard. If it didn’t involve slope, drainage, and moving a quantity of dirt, it would be a snap and I’m sure I’d already have it the way I want it. However… Oh brother. I got an estimate. I should have been sitting down.

Today is another busy day before I leave for the farm. I CAN’T WAIT! I haven’t seen my grandsons since January, so the hugs are long overdue. Three out of four of my grandkids will be there. Man, someday we’ll get all four in the same place at the same time. That will be picture time for sure.

and so it goes…
