Time Management

It is rather amazing how little is changed upon my return, how much there is to do to catch up, and how good getting back into my routine feels. To no one’s surprise, the downstairs remodel is “not quite” finished, but almost. Enough so, I can clean up for my company that arrives this week and not worry about the rest till next month.

The trees and flowers are in bloom. That was a nice treat to come home to, especially the azaleas I planted last year. There are some tulips about to open, unless the bunnies move in and get them. I couldn’t have tulips in the Black Forest because deer came right up to the house to munch on them, so this will be my first in a long time.

Now, to get back to writing! I did have some ideas pop into my head (and wisely wrote them down in a notebook) while I was away, floating on the deep blue sea. I’ve come to a few decisions about the plot in the dragon story, people and places I need to further develop, etc. Speaking of the sea, though, why is the color so different in the warm waters? That azure color is stunning compared to the cold grey sea I think of further north. Does temperature affect what colors are reflected?

My youngest grand baby is in the house! She is a giggler. What a treat to have them here. I am also putting on school programs this week, so the blog is going to be a bit short. There simply isn’t time for sitting and thinking.

and so it goes…
