Outside perspective can be so useful. I find when I listen to the problems of others, my own issues become so much less pressing, so much less ‘in my face.’ Thank goodness for that opportunity.
I went to ‘Zootopia’ with a couple of first graders. No, it wasn’t a Trump rally. It is Disney’s latest movie, and though there were a few scary moments for the little ones, it is well done and full of good philosophy/lessons for humans. That old problem of thinking before speaking is forefront in the lessons, along with a critique of the media taking things out of context. I thought it rather fit right in with today’s political climate. I suppose though, the ones who really need the lesson won’t get the lesson.
Snow snow snow. Great moisture and the silver lining is – the inkling for starting my outdoor projects is buried under the white stuff. So, I hooked up the new printer and even got the wi-fi portion done on my own. Yay. Now tell me, what’s the best way to recycle the old printer?
You might not believe this, but there is someone downstairs working on the drywall as I write this. That means I’ll be painting this weekend, and that means progress! I am so excited. We sketched out the cabinet that needs to be built, so next week might actually see some real change.
New exercises for strengthening my neck muscles (where I carry my tension) are helping. I haven’t had any more back spasms. Painting the new drywall will be a good test this weekend. It’s not a large area, but enough to see if I’ve made progress. I shoveled snow yesterday without a hitch. The nasty weather lately meant my granddaughter and I didn’t get to go hiking over spring break. What a bummer after all the warm weather a few weeks ago. Timing is everything.
and so it goes…
